Hierarchical Patent Classification


According to statistics of the World Intellectual Property Organization, the number of patent applications filed across the world keeps growing every year, creating a necessity for automation in many levels. In this shared task, the goal will be to classify in a multi-lingual setting patents into the International Patent Classification, a hierarchical system of language independent symbols.
